Families receive tuition money each week and children attend after school programs which includes help with homework and tutoring in subjects such as Math, English, Computer, and Indonesian language and culture. Each areas programs are set up to fit the needs of the children.
Why we do
                   what we do

Many Indonesian children for economic reasons can not attend school because the public education system is not free but very costly, this is a disappointment to both children and their parents since education is highly valued in their culture.

It is our desire to provide for the education of these children for the betterment of the families and communities in which they live.

Mercy International is dedicated to providing a public education, Kindergarten through High School for as many children as possible through the financial support of individuals and organizations.

We believe:

that the best way to help people is to
assist them in helping themselves. One way we believewe can accomplish this is through education.

Children from poor families will not tend to stay in poverty if properly educated, but will be qualified for better paying
jobs in the future thus helping their family, and community.
